Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport and Transfer to Bwindi NP
Upon arrival, you will be met and greeted by a professional English-speaking driver guide who will briefly take you through the trip plan and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda (harboring an estimated 400 mountain gorillas โ roughly half of the worldโs population) including several habituated groups, which you will trek. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check in your accommodation, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi
Encountering the rare and endangered Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is an experience of a lifetime. Half of the worldโs population of gorillas lives under the mist-covered canopies of Ugandaโs oldest and most biologically diverse rainforest. In the company of an experienced park ranger you will be tracking the whereabouts of one of the nine habituated family groups who live in the park.ย Your tracking experience will be an exciting, yet challenging, journey along forested (often muddy and slippery) slopes, tangled vines, thick vegetation and bamboo forests before you reach the territory of these gentle giants. After gorilla trekking, we shall emback on our journey to Lake Bunyonyi as you enjoy the scenic driveย to get to our Bunyonyi Eco Resort island ,
Day 3: Transfer back to Queen Elizabeth Park
Early morning departure with packed breakfast, we shall head to queen Elizabethย national park where we shall be there for a full day game drive , where we expect to see a number of Hippos, crocs and other acquatic animals,and the bigfive ,ย in the evening we shall enjoy the scenic Sun downer of the African sun set across the rift valley overlooking lake George and lake Edwards afterย we shall return for tto the lodge for dinner and overnight at Enganzi lodge .
Day 4: Explore Queen Elizabeth Park
Leave the hotel early morning for our second time in the game drive , this will be done via the kazinga channel and lake George trackย as we get to kesenyi sector, , we shall tour the queen Elizabeth pavilion on our way to the crator lakes drivesย and the Baboon cliff where we shall be having the best views of the crators , we shall return for lunch at the luxury l;odge Mweya lodgeย as we wait to take the Boat cruise on the kazinga channel, that has abig number of hippos, and crocsย plus other animals as they come close to the lake shores for water , after we shall return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Enganzi lodge
Day 5: Departure
Leave in the morning after breakfast and we drive back to Entebbe, we shall enjoy the Equator stop over where you will be having lunch after that we proceed to Entebbe .
