We at Wildlife Safaris Tanzania have made it easy for our clients to book and pay for their safari booking online in a simple and much safer way using our two user-friendly payment systems: PayPal and the Telegraphic Transfer system. We strongly encourage our clients to use either of these two systems, anytime, anywhere, to settle their Safari booking-related payments in less than 12 hours, using their credit card or Visa card.

Please note that all payments made using Visa or MasterCard via the Pesapal application are subject to a 4% processing fee. We kindly request that clients include this 4% fee when transferring funds to ensure the full tour cost is covered and your safari budget remains unaffected.

Alternative Payment: Telegraphic Transfer

For clients preferring an international bank transfer, we accept payment via Telegraphic Transfer (TT).?

Kindly note that each TT transaction incurs a small processing fee depending on your location globally. To prevent any shortfall in your safari budget, please find out the amount required as a processing fee and add it to the amount you transfer.

All funds are securely processed through the I&M Bank Head Office and deposited into the official account of Wildlife Safaris Tanzania Ltd.

Essential Payment and Confirmation

To confirm your booking, a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required. This deposit covers essential safari activities, including securing all necessary government permits (Gorilla, Chimpanzee, and Nyiragongo).

Balance Payment Deadlines

The remaining balance, including any applicable surcharges due based on your chosen payment method:

  • Credit Card: Full payment must be received by Rwanda Gorilla Trek no later than 10 to 15 days prior to the departure date.
  • Cash on Arrival: If you intend to pay the balance in cash upon the commencement of the safari, you must notify us in writing two weeks prior to the departure date.

Non-Payment

Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date (and in the absence of a written commitment to pay upon arrival) will result in the cancellation of your booking. In this event, no refund will be issued on the initial 30% deposit. This policy is necessary because government agencies in Uganda and Rwanda do not permit refunds once the official permits have been purchased. Therefore, Rwanda Gorilla Trek cannot refund the deposit for any client-initiated cancellation, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.
