The journey begins with a Kigali city tour, giving you the chance to explore Rwanda’s history, culture, and modern charm before heading north to the volcanic landscapes of Musanze. The second day offers a relaxed transfer from your hotel at Four Points by Sheraton to Volcanoes National Park, setting you closer to the home of the endangered mountain gorillas.
The highlight comes on Day 3 with an extraordinary gorilla trekking experience, where you will spend time with a gorilla family in their natural forest habitat. In the afternoon, you will have the choice of visiting the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to experience traditional Rwandan heritage or exploring the Dian Fossey Museum to learn about her conservation legacy. On the final day, you will enjoy golden monkey trekking, a rare opportunity to see these playful primates found only in the Virunga Massif, before departing for Kigali.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: City tour and transfer to volcanoes national park
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative after, you will be taken to hotel FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON meals plan Bed and Breakfast.
Day 2: Pick up from four points By Sheraton and drive to volcanoes park
This will be after enjoying the city tour of Kigali with our destination expert, within the city tour, we shall visit a places like Nyamata and Ntarama because of their historical information fro 1994 after which we expect to tour the memorial site within kigali before embarking on our 2 hours drive to volcanoes park, overnight at hotel FIVE VOLCANOES AND BOTIQUE
Day 3: Gorilla trekking & Ibyuwachu cultural village or Dianne fossey museum visit
We shall go through the briefing about Gorilla trekking exercise ,after through knowing about the whole exercise of gorilla trekking ,after that we shall set off to our respective gorilla family to be trekked, you will be accompanied by the park ranger and other porters to find the gorillas, this will take 3-5 hours to be back, to meet your guide ,we shall return from the gorilla trek by mid day after have hot lunch and we proceed to ibiwachyu village for the cultural performance or Ellen DeGeneres Museaum , where we shall enjoy the ;literature and work done by the late Dianne fossey and vitual reality gorilla show , Dinner and overnight at Five volcanoes and Botique.
Day 4: Golden monkey trekking and departure
Your guide will pick you up at 6:30 am and we headed to the orientation center not far from the lodge to get into our group of for golden monkey trekking and meet our guides. From there another drive over a rough road to enter the park where you will get more instructions on how to behave among the monkies too and in the natural habitat, you will enjoy the sounds of the jungle, after trekking which will take 2-3 hours, you will proceed back to the After we shall proceed back to Kigali
