Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and begin your journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where rhinos can be tracked on foot. Guided rangers will lead you through the sanctuary for a safe and fascinating encounter with these endangered giants. After lunch, continue your scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, where the Nile River crashes through a narrow gorge to form the most powerful waterfall in the world. Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, set off for a morning game drive across the vast savannah of Murchison Falls. The park is home to lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, with luck, the elusive leopard. The sweeping landscapes and abundant wildlife make this drive a highlight of the trip. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch before heading out for an afternoon boat cruise on the Nile. The cruise offers excellent opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide array of birds as you approach the base of the mighty falls. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest & Bigodi Wetland Visit

This morning, you will leave Murchison Falls and transfer south to Kibale Forest National Park, widely known as the “primate capital of East Africa.” After a scenic journey, you will arrive in time for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by expert trackers, you will head into the dense forest in search of chimpanzees, listening to their calls and watching them swing energetically through the trees. In the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-led conservation project known for its rich birdlife, monkeys, and cultural encounters. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near Kibale Forest.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Entebbe

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Entebbe. The scenic drive passes through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, dotted with tea plantations, rolling hills, and rural villages. Depending on your departure schedule, you may stop for lunch en route or a quick souvenir shopping experience. You will arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or at the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable safari.
