11 Days Ultimate Wildlife & Beach Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your guide for transfer to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its elephant herds, baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife migrations. Settle into your lodge before embarking on a late afternoon game drive, spotting giraffes, zebras, impalas, and lions. Capture your first sunset over the savannah and enjoy a bush-inspired dinner.

Day 2: Full-Day Tarangire Adventure

Spend the entire day exploring Tarangire. Begin with a morning game drive when wildlife is most active, and track elephants moving in large herds. Midday, enjoy a bush picnic lunch under a giant baobab tree, then continue with an afternoon game drive, spotting lions, cheetahs, and a variety of birdlife.

Optional Activity: Walking safari in designated areas to experience the sights, sounds, and tracks of the bush on foot.

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park

Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic drive through rolling hills and local villages. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge before setting out for an afternoon safari drive. Lake Manyara is known for tree-climbing lions, hippos, elephants, baboons, and flamingos, providing a spectacular photographic backdrop.

Optional Adventure: Canoeing on the lake (where available) or bird-watching tours with a guide.

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Take a guided nature walk around the lodge surroundings to learn about local flora, fauna, and Maasai culture. Evening at leisure with dinner overlooking the crater.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater—Full-Day Game Drive

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

Drive to the Serengeti National Park, stopping for photographs along scenic landscapes and Maasai villages. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 7: Serengeti – Great Migration & Hot Air Balloon (Optional)

Spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives, focusing on Great Migration herds if visiting between January and March (calving season) or July–October (river crossings). Track predator-prey interactions and take photos of the golden plains.

Optional Adventure: Sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush.

Day 8: Serengeti – Fly to Zanzibar

After breakfast, board a charter flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beachfront resort. Spend the afternoon relaxing on white sand beaches, swimming in turquoise waters, or enjoying resort amenities. Evening dinner at your beach resort.

Day 9: Zanzibar – Snorkeling & Dhow Sailing

Day 10: Zanzibar – Spice Tour & Stone Town Cultural Walk

Explore Zanzibar’s cultural and historical treasures. Begin with a spice farm tour, learning about clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon cultivation, followed by a guided walking tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting narrow alleyways, markets, and historic buildings. Return to the resort for relaxation and evening leisure.

Day 11: Departure from Zanzibar

After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight home or onward travel, concluding your 11-day ultimate wildlife and beach adventure.
